On Friday August 27, 2010 at approximately 10:00am Paul Fricke was killed while on-duty in a traffic accident. The accident occurred on Highway 47 just south of Hawk Point Missouri. Fricke was on-duty as the Chief of Police for the City of Hawk Point Missouri at the time of the accident. Fricke had been employed part-time with Hawk Point for the past four years. Fricke was also employed full-time as a Deputy Sheriff with the Warren County Sheriff’s Department since 2005. Fricke held the rank of Corporal, was a Shift-Supervisor, and a Field Training Officer with the Sheriff’s Department. Funeral arrangements are as follows:

All Law Enforcement, Fire, Dispatch, and EMS agencies are invited to participate in our final farewell to a brother officer.
Official personnel driving agency vehicles participating or attending the funeral are requested to arrive at the funeral home at 4:00pm to be briefed on the details of the procession to the church. The route will travel on Highway 47 East out of Troy, and then North onto Highway W. The entire route is approximately 11 miles.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Department Honor Guard will be conducting the Honor Ceremony at the funeral home, church, and burial site.
